We also realize that many parents would like to prevent cavities if given the opportunity and the correct tools. (It usually saves money, too, since the back baby teeth stay in until ages 10 to 12 years old!) Prevention really does start at age 1, and most cavities are not caused by candy! We want to help teach you the tools that a dentist knows about the “easiest” ways to prevent cavities, which may or may not include eating more ice cream and less fruit snacks. We will leave the answer a surprise. (Hint: The answer is “ice cream.”)
On the other hand, if you don’t want to talk about prevention, just let us know. We really like to, but we can hold it back if you ask us.
We provide phone screenings before each patient visit to ensure that your child is healthy. We also take the patient's temperature prior to entering our office.
Before your scheduled appointment, we encourage all new patients to complete their forms online, limiting the amount of time our patients and guardians are in the common areas.
We follow all sanitization procedures provided by the CDC, OSHA, and ADA. All tools and common areas are sanitized before and after each patient visit.
